SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to veterinary medicine, and for prevention of eimeriosis in chickens. To do this, a biotinylated derivative of oxidized dextran is orally administered, which is a conjugate obtained by the reaction of biotin hydroside and oxidized dextran with a molecular weight of 40-70 kDa with the formation of an azomethine bond, at a dose of 0.06 mg / kg of chicken live weight in the first days of life, every 72 hours.
EFFECT: method provides effective prophylaxis of eimeriosis of chickens by stimulating the cellular link of immunity and increasing the body's resistance.
