FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary immunology, experimental and clinical pharmacology, particularly to developing a method of improving cell immunity of an organism, and can be used in laboratory work on studying cellular immunity. What is presented is a method for increasing cellular immunity of laboratory mice. Method involves using a biologically active preparation, according to the invention, the preparation used is a biotinylated derivative of oxidized dextran, which is a conjugate obtained by reacting biotin hydrazide and oxidized dextran with molecular weight of 40–70 kD with formation of azomethine bond, with intramuscular introduction in dose of 5 ml/kg of live mouse weight.
EFFECT: disclosed method enables to study the effect of BOD on cellular immunity in laboratory mice.
