SUBSTANCE: portable current source on the basis of direct oxidation of borohydrides of alkali metals (BHAM) includes fuel element of direct oxidation of liquid fuel, which represents BHAM in alkali solution of gel electrolyte, which includes secondary fuel chosen from polyatomic alcohol, such as glycerin, methyl cellosolve as thickener and perforated connection to provide increased solubility of air oxygen, anode for direct electrooxidation of BHAM in alkaline medium in the form of multi-layered gradient porous structure with porosity of up to 40%, which contains structural base on which there applied is active layer including electrocatalyst which represents Ni-Ru-F alloy having the shape of nano-particles on porous carbon carrier, cathode for electrolytic reduction of air oxygen in borohydride fuel elements, which represents multi-layered gradient porous structure with porosity of up to 40% and includes structural metal base with gas-diffusion layer, to which there applied is active cathode mass including electrocatalyst containing manganese oxide in the form of nano-particles on porous carrier.
