SUBSTANCE: fluidized-bed granulator for producing urea-containing granules, a method for producing urea-containing granules, and the use of a fluidized-bed granulator for producing urea-containing granules. The granulator consists of at least an internal space (1) with walls, including at least the first side wall (1a.1), the second side wall (1a.2), the front wall (1a.3), passing transversely relative to side walls of the granulator, and a rear wall (1a.4) of the granulator, also extending transversely relative to the side walls of the granulator, at the end of the internal space (1) of the granulator opposite the front wall of the granulator. A perforated plate (2) is located horizontally, limiting the internal space (1) of the granulator from below. The granulator contains at least one inlet (3) for seed material and at least one outlet (4) for granulate. At least one outlet for (4) granulate is located at a distance in front of the rear wall (1a.4) of the granulator. At least one deflecting device (8, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3) is located in the internal space (1) of the granulator, which causes the flow of granules to be deflected in the internal space (1) of the granulator in such a way that the granules are deflected at least once in a direction that differs from their initial flow direction, to the outlet (4) for the granulate. The granulate outlet (4) is surrounded on two or three sides by deflecting plates (8.1, 8.1+i, where i = 0, 1, 2, 3, …). Opposite the rear wall (1a.4) of the granulator, no deflecting plate (8) is provided, or a deflecting plate (8) with a hole is provided. The preparation of a urea- or nitrate-containing granulate involves at least the following stages: providing a urea- and/or nitrate-containing melt, spraying the urea- and/or nitrate-containing melt into a fluidized-bed granulator, granulating the urea- and/or nitrate-containing melt, and obtaining a urea- or nitrate-containing melt granulate. The above-described granulator is used to produce a carbamide- or nitrate-containing granulate, preferably a urea-containing granulate containing elemental sulfur and/or ammonium sulfate.
EFFECT: compactness of the granulation building with a small amount of unused volume of space is ensured.
