FIELD: cell biology and medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to a method for optimizing the cryopreservation of ovarian tissue for long-term storage under deep freezing conditions in order to preserve the fertility of patients receiving gonadotoxic treatment. To implement the method, the obtained samples of ovarian tissue are sequentially immersed in two solutions with increasing concentrations containing: 1) 7.5% propanediol-1,2+7.5% dimethyl sulfoxide in sodium phosphate buffer medium at room temperature for 10 minutes; 2) 20% propanediol-1.2 + 20% dimethyl sulfoxide + 0.5 M sucrose in sodium phosphate buffer medium, pre-cooled to a temperature of 4°C, for 5 minutes. After that, samples of ovarian tissue are placed in cryovials installed in a cryobox for storage in liquid nitrogen at a temperature of -196°C.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of cryopreservation of ovarian tissue in order to preserve the maximum number of intact oocytes, and hence prolong the reproductive potential.
