FIELD: producing aldehyde; alcohol.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing an aldehyde and a method for producing an alcohol, including obtaining an aldehyde by the claimed method. The method for obtaining the aldehyde is the reaction of hydroformylation by reacting the olefin with hydrogen and carbon monoxide in presence of a catalytic complex of a metal of 8-10 groups and a phosphine. The method includes the following stages (1) and (2): (1) the step of extracting the reaction solution containing the high-boiling by-product accumulated therein from the reaction zone and oxidizing at a temperature of 85-180°C by bringing the recovered reaction solution into contact with an oxygen-containing gas, and (2) after step (1), the step of mixing the poor solvent and hydrogen into the reaction solution, then crystallizing the group 8-10 metal complex catalyst and phosphine, and recovering crystallized catalytic complex from the reaction solution. The poor solvent is a solvent that maintains a homogeneous phase with the reaction solution and does not participate in the reaction in the reaction zone, and in which the group 8-10 metal compound has a lower solubility than in the reaction solution.

EFFECT: providing a method for producing aldehyde, in which a highly active catalytic complex is efficiently removed from the reaction solution, which is removed outside the reaction zone to prevent the accumulation of a high-boiling by-product.
