FIELD: air ventilation systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to indoor air handling units that supply fresh air to a room. The air handling unit includes a housing and at least one air channel. The housing has at least one opening for supply air intake, equipped with a heating element, at least one opening for recirculating air intake and at least one opening for air extraction. The air channel communicates with at least one opening for supply air intake. Inside the housing are a coarse filter, a high-efficiency filter, a heat exchanger and a fan. In this case, the fan is located along the air flow after the heat exchanger and before the high-efficiency filter. Openings for supply and recirculation air intake are placed relative to the heat exchanger in such a way that supply and recirculation air pass through the heat exchanger crosswise.
EFFECT: reducing the consumption of electricity for heating the supply air during the operation of the supply and recirculation unit, as well as reducing the noise level produced by the fan with high air purification efficiency.
