FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to a linear electromagnetic vibration motor for vibrating concentration chutes in particle sorting devices for sorting powder materials by density. The linear electromagnetic vibration motor consists of a stator, a coil, an armature with a cylindrical part in the form of a tube with a baffle and a disk part, a guide housing, plain bearings, a return spring and an adjusting washer. A feature of the invention is placement of a movable rod made of ferromagnetic material inside the cylindrical part of the armature.
EFFECT: increase in the differential of negative accelerations on the forward and reverse strokes of the armature at the moment of braking, while simultaneously reducing the energy of its impact on the guide housing, which significantly speeds up and improves the quality of the process of sorting powder material particles by density in the concentration chute connected to the engine.
