SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to electric drives with reciprocal action pulse electromagnetic motors. Pulsed electromagnetic drive consists of linear electromagnetic motor with armature retention device containing cylindrical stator (1) with excitation winding (2), combined armature (3), preloaded return spring (4), guide housing (5), power supply unit (8), bypass diode (9) and control device (10). Armature retention device consists of cylindrical electromagnet with magnetic core (6), retention winding (7) and combined armature (3) external drawn disk part.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in electromagnetic motor average traction force, developed on diode bypass interval of series connected excitation windings and retention.
