SUBSTANCE: use of a pharmaceutical composition and a method for preventing or treating hepatitis, liver fibrosis and/or liver cirrhosis using a fusion protein. The use of a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of hepatitis, liver fibrosis and/or liver cirrhosis, where the pharmaceutical composition contains as an effective component a fusion protein in an effective amount, including a mutant fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) protein and an immunoglobulin Fc region. A method for preventing or treating hepatitis, liver fibrosis and/or liver cirrhosis, which includes the step of administering a pharmaceutical composition to a subject, where the pharmaceutical composition contains as an effective component a fusion protein in an effective amount, including a mutant fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) protein and an immunoglobulin Fc region.
EFFECT: effective treatment of hepatitis, liver fibrosis and/or liver cirrhosis.
