FIELD: data transmission.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for transmitting data in an electronic price tag system. The technical result consists in increasing the field of action of the radio transmission to connect a larger number of electronic price tags and in simplifying the transfer of data without increasing the number of devices required to maintain the system. In the method, data transmission from the base station to a specific electronic price tag is carried out by sequentially transmitting information from the price tag to the price tag, while the electronic price tags present in the radio coverage area of the base station receive data, compare the electronic price tag identifier contained in the received data with their own and write to the cache the last received data, if the identifier contained in the received data does not match its own, the electronic price tag performs an additional check - it compares the received identifier with the one stored in the cache, if the electronic price tag reveals that the identifier received in the received price change data matches its own, it updates information about the new price on the display and sends data on a successful update, containing the identifier and update time, in the opposite direction along the chain from the electronic price tag to the electronic price tag to the base station and server.
EFFECT: increasing the field of action of the radio transmission to connect a larger number of electronic price tags and in simplifying the transmission of data without increasing the number of devices required to maintain the system.
