SUBSTANCE: prediction mode of the current coding unit is determined. Retrieve the colour space transformation applied to the residual sample of the current coding unit based on the prediction mode. Retrieve the residual sample of the current coding unit based on the applied colour space transformation. The transform coefficient for the residual sample of the current coding unit is retrieved. Quantization is performed based on the transform coefficient and final quantization parameter for the current coding unit. Colour space conversion information for applying a colour space conversion to a residual sample of the current coding unit is encoded in a bitstream. The final quantization parameter is derived based on the first quantization parameter for the current coding unit.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of video coding.
