The final quantization parameter is extracted based on adding the value of the first quantization parameter for the current coding unit to the quantization parameter offset value for the current coding unit. The transform coefficient for the current coding unit is extracted based on the final quantization parameter for the current coding unit. A residual sample for the current coding unit is extracted based on the transform factor for the current coding unit. The current coding unit contains a block of luminance signal components, a block of first color components and a block of second color components.
