FIELD: machines for issuing and receiving money, namely ATM.

SUBSTANCE: ATM includes: a main body having an inlet; receiving block; temporary storage block; identification block; closed cycle cassette; rejection cassette; deposit cassette; auxiliary cassette located in the lower section of the main body; the route of transportation along which the currency is transported; and control unit. The control unit controls the transport path so that when currency is withdrawn through the ejection transit cassette, the currency recognized by the identification unit as a standard banknote among the currency stored in the deposit cassette and the loop cassette is temporarily stored in the temporary storage unit, and the currency recognized by the identification unit as a standard banknote is retrieved into the transit withdrawal cassette from the currency temporarily stored in the temporary storage unit.

EFFECT: possibility of providing real-time control over the amount of currency in the ATM, as well as ensuring control over the presence of the proper amount of currency in the box for storing currency in real time.
