FIELD: waste collection equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structural elements of waste collection vehicles, in particular to the design of a compaction chamber. The compaction chamber (1) of the waste collection vehicle, communicated with the storage of the waste collection vehicle, contains a compaction mechanism installed in its upper part on the shaft (9), a pressing plate (2) and levers (11) of which are fixed on the specified shaft (9), and hydraulic cylinders (7) installed outside the pressing chamber (1) and intended to ensure the reciprocating rotational movement of the pressing plate (2) in the compaction chamber (1) by means of levers (11). In this case, the arcuate shape of the rear and lower walls of the compaction chamber (1) corresponds to the arcuate shape of the radial surface of the pressing plate (2). The shaft (9) rests with its ends on the suspension units (5), which are installed outside the compaction chamber (1) on both sides of it. The levers (11) are fixed on the shaft (9) between the suspension units (5) and the side walls of the compaction chamber (1). On the arcuate surface of the compaction chamber (1) and the arcuate surface of the pressing plate (2) there are protrusions (8, 10) in the direction of movement of the pressing plate. Moreover, the location of the protrusions (8) on the pressing plate corresponds to the depressions of the arcuate surface of the chamber, which are formed by the protrusions (10) of the arcuate surface of the compaction chamber.
EFFECT: increasing the specific pressure of pressing, increasing the strength of the structure, increasing the area of contact of the pressing plate with the surface of the compaction chamber and increasing the reliability of the compaction chamber.
