FIELD: medicine; neurology; neurorehabilitation.
SUBSTANCE: determine of motor functions indicators of the upper limb. Fix sensors of the movement measurement system on the patient in the middle part of the shoulder and on the distal part of the paretic arm forearm, while the patient is in a standing position. Measure angular velocity during pronation/supination of the distal part of lowered hand forearm, determine the highest value. Then carry out a cycle of rehabilitation measures including of 10-12 sessions, repeat indicated measurements after their completion. Make a conclusion about favorable prognosis for the hand motor function restoration with an increase in the angular velocity value by 50% or more.
EFFECT: method provides reliable assessment of existing motor disorders in patients after stroke, which will allow them to prescribe timely and personalized rehabilitation therapy and increase the effectiveness of rehabilitation treatment.
