FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to restorative medicine, physical rehabilitation medicine, neurology, and can be used in complex rehabilitation of patients suffering ischemic stroke (IS) in early and late recovery periods. Exercises from a set are performed, in which each exercise is based on a computer game. Rehabilitation device is remotely connected to the computer; the patient’s injured hand is placed and fixed in the rehabilitation device - a training apparatus for recovering the object-manipulative function of the hand with biological feedback with built-in sensitive elements providing ultra-precise control. Patient undergoes training, instructions for performing the movement are displayed on the screen; wherein patient's movements are displayed on screen in real time; patient changes the position of virtual objects in accordance with the task in a specific computer game. Each training is followed by testing the range of motion in said joints, expressed in degrees; comparison of amplitudes of movements before and after each lesson, in dynamics through several lessons, allows to assess the effectiveness/ineffectiveness of the conducted rehabilitation sessions.
EFFECT: method provides more effective recovery of the object-manipulative function of the paretic hand in the patients after cerebral stroke.
