METHOD FOR COMPLEX REHABILITATION OF PATIENTS IN THE EARLY RECOVERY PERIOD OF CEREBRAL STROKE Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61H1/00

Abstract RU 2816999 C1

FIELD: medicine; neurology.

SUBSTANCE: against the background of drug treatment, a complex of successive rehabilitation measures, during which exercises with elements of auto-training are used, with the patient adjusting to a positive process; then dynamic propriocorrection, a complex of rehabilitation using exercises with mirror image are performed. Novelty is that dynamic propriocorrection is proposed to be carried out using Pablo system computer-hardware complex. Before performing each therapeutic module, the doctor pronounces the trigger word, then, during the therapeutic module, the doctor repeats the trigger words and asks the patient to pronounce them aloud and to comment on all actions performed by him in stages. Trainings are carried out first on a healthy arm, then on a sore arm. Further, a complex of rehabilitation is carried out using exercises with a mirror image, wherein after preliminary recording of household movements of a healthy hand on the instructions of a doctor on a tablet displaying the real size of the hand, the patient places the injured hand in an opaque box, on top of which the tablet is installed, and the patient with the patient's hand repeats the hand movements on the tablet. At the same time healthy hand remains motionless, patient pronounces aloud all performed actions, and then independently performs mental training with closed eyes, imagining movements performed during therapy with mirror image with a tablet. Complex of trainings is carried out for 40–60 minutes, depending on the patient's condition, for course of 8–10 procedures.

EFFECT: method provides increased motor function of the upper extremity, improved cognitive functions, improved general condition and well-being of the patients, reduced disability and accelerated socialization of the patient.
