METHOD FOR REHABILITATION OF PATIENTS WITH CEREBROVASCULAR PATHOLOGY Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B5/16 A61K31/44 A61K31/198 A61P25/00

Abstract RU 2796361 C1

FIELD: medicine, neurology, neuropsychology, neurorehabilitation.

SUBSTANCE: drug therapy and cognitive psychotherapy are carried out independently or in combination, the technique of biofeedback with feedback is applied. During and after the completion of treatment, the degree of restoration of lost functions is assessed. What is new is that they test the properties of nervous processes: mobility according to a simple and complicated choice reaction, strength according to fatigue and the pace of thinking, balance according to a complex visual-motor reaction using a stopwatch. The results of all these tests are evaluated on a three-point scale, where 0 — no violations, 1 — moderate violations, 2 — severe violations. Upon receipt of the result by the sum of points within 0–1 points, a course of cognitive rehabilitation is prescribed using standard computer programs. When a result of 2–3 points is obtained, a course of combined psycho-drug therapy is prescribed using the brain-computer neural interface and the neurometabolic drug ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate 1 tablet 250 mg twice a day for 12–15 days. When a result of 4–6 points is obtained or if a violation corresponding to 2 points is detected in at least one of the tests, a course of combined psycho-drug therapy is prescribed using the brain-computer neural interface and the glutamatergic drug hydroxynicotinoylglutamate calcium 25 mg intravenously, by stream, once a day within 12–15 days.

EFFECT: method provides a comprehensive, complete, reliable assessment of existing neurodynamic disorders in patients with cerebrovascular pathology, which will allow to prescribe them timely and adequate therapy and increase the effectiveness of ongoing rehabilitation treatment.
