SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of anti-rabies vaccines. A method is proposed for determining the optimal time of reproduction of the rabies virus in the cells of the kidney line of a newborn Syrian hamster BHK-21/SUSP/ARRIAH for the manufacture of anti-rabies vaccines. The method is carried out using the analysis of transformational changes in cellular DNA by flow cytometry. The main advantages of the proposed invention is the ability to determine within 30 minutes at what stage of reproduction of the rabies virus the process is, and thereby stop it with a high accumulation of ribonucleoprotein, which is the most important immunogenic component in the production of anti-rabies vaccines.

EFFECT: method is characterized by a high speed of analysis and a high degree of objectivity in measuring the intensity of fluorescence.
