FIELD: cell biology; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for assessing the complex protection of cells in neuroinflammation in an in vitro model when exposed to a protease-activated receptor type 1 (PAR1) agonist. To implement this method, in vitro cellular models of inflammation are first formed in the form of isolated cell cultures from neurons, astrocytes and the RBL-2H3 mast cell line, in the form of compositions from cell cocultures of neurons and mast cells, compositions from cocultures of astrocytes and mast cells. Next, the morphological and functional characteristics of cell models activated by pro-inflammatory factors are evaluated, the results of which make a conclusion about the complex protection of cells during neuroinflammation. The effect of the PAR1 agonist on cell models is carried out before the pro-inflammatory activation of cells by pro-inflammatory factors, and at least 6 experimental groups are formed to assess the morphological and functional characteristics.
EFFECT: invention contributes to the achievement of protection and the evaluation of such protection for a whole group of brain cells, stabilizing not only individual cellular signaling cascades, but also their functions when inducing neuroinflammation by a whole range of factors.
