FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: endoprosthesis for reconstructive surgery of an inguinal hernia is made of a mesh material, the outer edge of which has the shape of a truncated oval, and contains a hole in the central zone for passing the spermatic cord. The endoprosthesis contains a protective ring made of elastic anti-adhesive material along the perimeter of the hole, inside which the edge of the mesh material is enclosed, a protective edging made of elastic anti-adhesive material along the outer edge of the endoprosthesis, inside which the outer edge of the mesh material is enclosed, a coating in the form of an elastic cellular film with adhesion elements made of anti-adhesive material connecting the cover to the mesh material within which the mesh material passes. The anti-adhesive material is a spatially cross-linked polymer based on oligomers and monomers of the methacrylic series.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to isolate the seminal canal from the mesh material to exclude adhesive processes between them, to reduce the shrinkage of the endoprosthesis in the postoperative period, to exclude the unraveling/cutting of the edge of the endoprosthesis during suture fixation.
