ENDOPROSTHESIS FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF PARASTOMAL HERNIAS USING THE IPOM TECHNIQUE Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61F2/02 A61F2/04

Abstract RU 2784168 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to reconstructive surgery of parastomal hernias, and can be used for surgical treatment of parastomal hernias using the IPOM technique. An endoprosthesis is proposed that includes a mesh material formed in the form of two non-intersecting circles, which are connected along a common line and form a single layer. The first circle contains a hole in the central zone for conducting the intestine, connected by a slot to the outer edge of the mesh material perpendicular to the common line, a protective ring along the perimeter of the hole made of anti-adhesive material, inside which the edge of the mesh material is enclosed, the first strip of anti-adhesive material, inside which the mesh material is enclosed, connecting the hole and the outer edge of the mesh material parallel to the common line. The second circle contains, on the one hand, a coating of anti-adhesive material with adhesion elements that connect the coating to the mesh material and inside which the mesh material passes, contains a second strip of anti-adhesive material, inside which the mesh material is enclosed, with such a direction that when the endoprosthesis is folded along a common the lines of the first and second strips are superimposed on each other, forming an insulating channel for conducting the intestine.

EFFECT: method improves the results of surgical treatment of parastomal hernias by using the proposed implantable endoprosthesis for the IPOM surgical technique.
