SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for introducing gas into a liquid and can be used in laboratory studies of processes in bubble media. The invention relates to methods for introducing gas into a liquid and can be used in various fields of engineering and technology, as well as in laboratory studies of processes in bubble media. The method includes pulsed supply of gas from a manifold connected to a source of compressed gas and placed in the lower part of a reservoir with liquid through tubes of the same diameter and height, installed at equally spaced distances from each other in the upper cover of the manifold. The cluster is obtained by successive feeding with the same time interval of N groups of bubbles forming a horizontal layer. The location of the tubes opened by a separate electro-pneumatic valve for each tube for each of the N groups of bubbles is set using the controller. The controller is programmed with the ability to fill each of the N layers with bubbles located in successive horizontal sections of a cluster of a given configuration. The gas pressure in the collector, the inner diameter of the tubes, the minimum distance between the axes of the tubes, the volume concentration of bubbles in the cluster, the opening time of each of the electropneumatic valves and the time interval between the supply of each of the N groups of bubbles are determined by given algebraic relationships.
EFFECT: obtaining a bubble cluster of a given configuration with a uniform distribution of bubbles over its volume and with controlled levels of the bubble diameter and their volume concentration.
