PLANT FOR STUDYING THE DYNAMICS OF THE BUBBLE CLUSTER IN LIQUID Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N21/00 B01F3/04

Abstract RU 2683147 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of plants for laboratory studies of physical processes, in particular for the study of patterns of ascent of a compact bubble cluster in liquid. Plant includes a transparent prismatic fluid cuvette, the device for forming a bubble cluster and the system for visualizing the ascent process. Device for forming a bubble cluster, which is located in the lower part of the cuvette, is made in the form of a collector connected through the shut-off valve and the reducer with the source of compressed gas. Tightly fitting plate is installed on the top cover of the collector with the possibility of its translatory-return displacement along the top cover of the collector by the electromagnetic drive. Combined perforations of the same diameter arranged in the form of a uniform rectangular grid are made in the upper manifold lid and in the plate. Gas pressure in the header, the distance between the centers of adjacent perforations, the offset of the plate, the time interval for the perforations in the upper cover of the collector and in the plate are determined according to the given algebraic relations.

EFFECT: ability to determine the speed and configuration of the cluster consisting of monodisperse bubbles with the given controlled diameter in the process of its ascent into the liquid.
