SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for controlling the traction system of vehicles with electric traction. A method for controlling traction motors for an individual electric drive of the driving wheels of a vehicle consists in receiving data from sensors, according to which the control unit sets the values of the parameters of the traction motors regulated according to a certain algorithm. They carry out the function of impulse suppression of self-oscillations for traction and braking modes of operation of an individual traction electric drive both in rectilinear and curvilinear motion according to signals from sensors of the angular speeds of rotation of the wheels, the angle of rotation of the steering wheel, the position of the accelerator pedal and the current strength in any two phases of the traction motors.

EFFECT: increasing the energy efficiency, safety and reliability of the individual traction electric drive of the wheel.
