FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in potash industry for reclamation of salt dump slopes. The method includes forming a support prism from fresh salt waste at the bottom of the salt dump slope, then filling it with a levelling layer from fresh salt waste at an angle of their natural repose, followed by installation of a waterproof coating over the levelling layer and the support prism. The levelling layer of salt waste on the slope of the salt dump is poured to the width of the upper platform of the support prism. The support prism is made with a stepped lowering of its base away from the salt dump. The waterproof coating consists of two layers of drainage mats made of geosynthetic materials and a layer of waterproofing material between them.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency of protection of salt dumps from the effects of atmospheric precipitation and reduction of excess brine, ensuring levelling of the surface of the salt dump ensuring integrity of the waterproofing coating.
