FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the tools measuring coefficient of friction of the wheel with road surface. The device comprises a loading direct current motor with independent actuating coil, a braking current sensor of anchor chain of brake generator, a drive current sensor of actuating coil of loading motor, a difference evaluator, the first and the second reducing gear, an automatic control system. Wall-anchored coils of brake generator and loading motor are electrically joined together antiparallelly where brake generator is made with constant excitation. The rotor of the loading motor is kinematically connected to the supporting wheel spindle by means of the second reducing gear. The power voltage amplifier output is connected to the independent actuating coil of the loading motor. The braking current sensor is connected to the circuit of anchor coils of brake generator and loading motor. The drive current sensor is connected to the power circuit of independent actuating coil of loading motor, difference evaluator outlet is connected to the control input of voltage amplifier, positive input of the difference evaluator is connected to the first outlet of control panel and negative input of difference evaluator is connected to the outlet of the automatic control system. The outlets of angular rate sensors of master gears and supporting wheels and outlets of the braking current sensors of brake generator and drive current of loading motor are connected to four outlets of automatic control system and its fifth outlet is connected to the second outlet of the control panel.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of continuous measurement of friction coefficient and enlarging definition area.
