FIELD: equipment for biological materials.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to supports for biomaterial samples and methods for their manufacture. A stand (1) is disclosed for storing a sample of biological material, and the stand (1) contains at least a rigid body (6) containing at least the first through hole (13) and made as one piece from either co-moulded or moulded over plastic material; at least a first section (3) of the absorbent matrix (2) suitable and intended for storing a sample of biological material; moreover, the first section (3) of the absorbent matrix is fixed and held in a predetermined position in the first through hole (13); moreover, the first section (3) of the absorbent matrix has at least the first part, which is not supported by the body (6) and is suspended inside the first through hole (13), and the first part of the first section (3) of the absorbent matrix (2) is directly accessible for contact; wherein the first section (3) of the absorbent matrix (2) is provided with a second side part (27) attached to the body (6), inserted into the body (6) and surrounded by the body (6) and enclosed in the body (6), which is made by moulding together or moulding over the plastic material on the second side of the first section (3) of the absorbent matrix. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing said stand.

EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to increase the accuracy of stand positioning, reduces the risk of errors and malfunctions.
