FIELD: packing and storage.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to closing elements for containers for collection and storage of biological samples. Disclosed is a release plug for detachable connection with a container and configured to contain and selectively release a substance in the container. Stopper comprises: a first housing configured for direct connection to the container and comprising a connecting element suitable for providing removable attachment of the stopper in accordance with the opening of the container, with determination of the first installation configuration of the plug on the container, in which the plug closes the container. Plug also comprises a second housing connected to the first housing and made with possibility of movement relative to it and forming with the first housing at least one reservoir made with possibility to contain substance. Reservoir is isolated from the environment in at least the first closed configuration of the plug. Besides, the plug includes a closing element making at least a part of the tank wall and facing inside the container in the mounting configuration. Closing element is configured for selective opening, with determination of at least a second open configuration of the plug, by the action of the opening element, different from the plug and placed inside the container, to bring the reservoir into communication with the inside of the container. Also disclosed are versions of a kit for collecting and storing biological samples and a method of distributing substances in a releasable plug or in a kit.
