FIELD: plain bearings.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for the manufacture of plain bearings with a bronzed working surface. A bronze bushing made of bronze BrZhNA is installed in a housing, the coefficient of thermal expansion of which is lower than that of the bushing, with a gap of 0.02-0.05 mm. The sleeve is burnished with an interference of 0.25-0.75 mm and the connected parts are heated to ensure diffusion welding in a vacuum of at least 10-5 mmHg to a temperature of 0.5-0.7 Tm bronze bushing. After welding is completed, the inner surface of the sleeve is remelted with a non-consumable electrode in argon to a depth equal to the thickness of the working layer of the bearing sleeve.
EFFECT: method ensures the creation of a friction surface with high wear resistance while maintaining high adhesive strength of the steel-bronze joint.
