FIELD: rubber waste processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of shock-absorbing rubber and is intended for separating textile cord from rubber, which are part of crushed worn rubber-cord waste. The method is carried out by preparing and cutting products, cutting them into pieces (strips), crushing the latter to crumbs with a particle size of 1-1.5 mm. Moreover, the separation of the textile cord from the rubber is carried out in an electromagnetic apparatus with a rotating magnetic field by shock-vortex action on the material of magnetic elements made of a hard magnetic material for 2-3 minutes. Then the materials are unloaded, the main part of the rubber is separated from the textile cord with a magnet, and the rest of the textile cord is separated from the rubber with a sieve.
EFFECT: development of a less expensive and more environmentally friendly and fireproof method for separating textile cord from rubber in the products of grinding worn rubber cord products.
