FIELD: processing of used-up tires with metal cord at reclaiming plants. SUBSTANCE: method involves crushing tire pieces on hammer crusher at 15-25 C and a linear rotation speed of working tools of 55-70 m/s. Textile cord is extracted on vibrating sieves. Metal cord is removed by magnetic separation, then rubber crumbs are separated. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
