FIELD: medicine; cardiology; public health; healthcare.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the risk of coronary heart disease in men of working age in the presence of systolic arterial hypertension and depression. The presence or absence of systolic arterial hypertension is detected by monitoring blood pressure and the level of depression on the MOPSY scale. The results obtained are expressed in points. Then, the risk of developing coronary heart disease (R) in men of working age is calculated using a given formula. With a P value of less than 0.130, a low risk of developing coronary disease is predicted; with a P value greater than or equal to 0.130, a high risk of developing coronary disease is predicted.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the incidence due to cardiovascular pathology and avoid further progression of cardiovascular diseases and the development of their complications by improving the accuracy of early diagnosis of coronary heart disease in people with a high level of depression and systolic arterial hypertension by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
