FIELD: medicine, cardiology.
SUBSTANCE: in men one should detect the following parameters: age (x1), the presence of constant lover (x2), the category of smoking intensity (x3, x4, x5), the value of systolic arterial pressure (x6), the presence of the diagnosis of ischemic cardiac disease by epidemiological criteria (x7). One should determine the value of cumulative risk of lethality as a result of cardio-vascular diseases (CVD) by the following formula: ∑x7β7=x1β1+x2β2+x3β3+x4β4+x5β5+x6β6+x7β7, where ∑x7β7 - the value of cumulative risk of lethality as a result of CVD, x1 - age (the quantity of yr on the moment of inspection); x2 - the presence of constant lover: wife, concubine, etc. (0 - yes; 1 - no); x3 - smoking at intensity of about 1-9 cigarettes/Russian cigarettes daily (0 - no, 1 - yes), x4 - smoking at intensity of about 10-19 cigarettes/Russian cigarettes daily (0 - no, 1 - yes), x5 - smoking at intensity being 20 and more cigarettes/Russian cigarettes daily (0 -no, 1 -yes), x6 - the value of systolic arterial pressure (mm mercury column), x7 - the presence of the diagnosis of ischemic cardiac disease according to epidemiological criteria (0 - no, 1 - yes), β1, β2, β3, β4, β5, β6, β7 - regression coefficients of the following variables x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, x6 and x7 that have got the following values: β1=0.113; β2=0.532; β3=0.612; β4=1.174; β5=0.880; β6=0.016; β7=0.812. At value of cumulative risk of lethality as a result of CVD being below 7.59 men should be classified into the category low risk, at the values of cumulative risk of lethality ranged 7.59-8.56 such men should be referred to the category of average risk, and at its value being higher or equal 8.57 these men should be referred to the category of high risk of lethality as a result of cardio-vascular diseases in wide age range (men aged 25-64) for prolonged period (16.9 yr). The method is simple in practical application.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction.
