FIELD: medicine, endoscopy and gastroenterology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in capsule endoscopy. Capsule endoscopy is performed using the PillCam COLON2 video capsule. 50 ml of water is taken before swallowing the capsule and another 250 ml of water 10 seconds after swallowing the capsule. Then the capsule is put into the adaptive frame rate mode, after which the patient gets up and moves for 15 minutes. When determining the localization of the capsule in the antrum of the stomach, the patient drinks 250 ml of water and dissolves 1 tablet of Motilium Express 10 mg, maintaining mobility for another 30 minutes.
EFFECT: method allows to perform a more complete assessment of the state of the gastroduodenal junction and the study of the elements of this zone by increasing the residence time of the video capsule in the antrum of the stomach and the duodenal bulb, thereby increasing the number of images obtained, due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
