FIELD: aerosol generating devices.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol generating device containing a display (options). A device for generating an aerosol is proposed, which comprises a housing, containing a part configured to introduce an aerosol generating product through an opening formed on one side of the housing, and capable of containing this product, a sensor surrounding at least a part of the containing part and configured to read physical properties of the aerosol generating product, a display located on one surface of the housing and a processor configured to detect the fact of installation of the aerosol generating product in the containing part based on the physical properties of the aerosol generating product read by the sensor, and activating the display when the aerosol generating product is inserted into the containing part. The display contains a protective glass, a panel configured to display at least one indicator of the aerosol generating device and recognizing a user touching the protective glass, and a metal screen containing a feedback circuit configured to generate a feedback signal in response to a user touch. Protective glass, panel and metal screen can be arranged in series and in layers.

EFFECT: inventions provide the possibility of obtaining information about the state of the aerosol generating device and obtaining a feedback signal in accordance with the user's touch for more efficient use of the aerosol generating device.
