FIELD: absorbent structures.

SUBSTANCE: in one embodiment, a method for manufacturing an absorbent structure may include: directing a flow of particles towards a layer of material; spraying the first adhesive onto the flow, the first adhesive being in contact with the flow at a first point of contact; spraying the second adhesive onto the flow, the second adhesive being in contact with the flow at a second point of contact; depositing the particles, the first adhesive and the second adhesive onto the material layer; and separating the mixture of particles, adhesive and material layer into separate absorbent structures; wherein each absorbent structure created has particles placed in an amount equal to 500 g/m2 and adhesive placed in an amount equal to 7% by weight relative to the weight of the superabsorbent particles, and has wet pad integrity values greater than or equal to 20 in accordance with the test method integrity of wet pads.

EFFECT: absorbent structures and methods for their manufacture are proposed.
