FIELD: dry quenching of coke.
SUBSTANCE: dust removing device for dry coke quenching contains a dust remover, a coke powder hopper, a combustion chamber and an ash release valve. The coke powder outlet is located at the bottom of the dust extractor, and the coke powder outlet is connected to the coke powder inlet on the top of the coke powder bin. The coke powder outlet at the bottom of the coke powder hopper is connected to the coke powder inlet at the top of the combustion chamber. The oxidizing air inlet and combustion chamber nozzle are located on one side of the combustion chamber, and the hot flue gas outlet is located on the other side of the combustion chamber. The hot flue gas outlet is connected to the dust extractor via a hot flue gas pipe. An ash discharge valve is provided in the ash discharge port at the bottom of the combustion chamber. A method for increasing the steam output of a dry coke quenching boiler is also disclosed.
EFFECT: ensuring complete combustion of the coke powder and extracting additional heat for the circulating gas of the dry coke quenching boiler.
