SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic chemistry and pharmacology, namely to a biologically active substance of the class of substituted 2-amino-4-oxobutanoic acids. Disclosed is 2-(2-(4-nitrobenzoyl)hydrazono)-4-oxo-4-(4-methylphenyl)butanoic acid 1-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl ester of formula 1, which has anti-inflammatory activity.
EFFECT: invention provides pronounced anti-inflammatory activity with low toxicity.
