SUBSTANCE: propulsors of off-road vehicles. The wheelchair chassis consists of a system of three low-pressure onboard pneumatic wheels located at the ends of one of the three radial assembly brackets rotating on the central axis, and a wheel drive mechanism. The drive mechanism of the onboard wheels is made according to the variable speed diagram and is a disk with a conical peripheral groove with a taper of 45°, mounted on the central axis, a three-blade iris diaphragm rotating together with radial brackets and conical disks with the same 45° angle of the generatrix on the axle shafts of the wheel shafts. The iris diaphragm is made in the form of a movable ring of three blades with holes for balls in each blade, or it can have two movable rings with oppositely oriented blades and figured grooves for combining balls in each of the pairs of blades.

EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the chassis in the wheel-walking mode.
