FIELD: transport machinery.

SUBSTANCE: wheelchair chassis consists of a system of three wheels located at the ends of one of the three radial assembly brackets rotating on the central axis, and a wheel drive mechanism. Each pneumatic wheel has a rim with a flange for an endless belt with a double moulded tooth combining the three wheels of the onboard assembly into a wheel-track unit. The diameter of the toothed part of the flanges is two and a half times smaller than the diameter of pneumatic wheels.

EFFECT: improvement of the operational characteristics of the chassis and expansion of the functionality of wheelchairs for movement on a wheeled-tracked unit on hard surfaces overcoming obstacles in the form of ditches, thresholds, curbs, scarps, including public staircases.
