FIELD: testing; technical diagnostics of vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for assessing power losses in a gearbox. When testing under operating conditions, force transducers are installed in the engine and gearbox mounts. The crankshaft and transfer shaft speed sensors, respectively, are mounted in the flywheel housing and the gearbox housing, to which a measuring device is attached. The maximum speed of the crankshaft is set by the maximum fuel supply to the engine, the gear of the operating speed range is successively increased, and in each gear, by the resistance forces of the assembled machine, the engine load is change by deepening the working bodies. Based on the obtained values of the reactions of the engine and gearbox mounts, for each measurement moment, the engine power transmitted to the gearbox and the power transmitted by the gearbox to the drive axles, the amount of power loss in the corresponding gear in the gearbox under study are calculated.
EFFECT: reduced complexity and increased efficiency of measurements.
