SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to completion systems for use in an 
underground wellbore. The method for deploying a wellbore filter includes determining a target displacement for expanding the filter in the wellbore, selecting a wellbore filter that contains an outer casing having a plurality of perforations defined therein, running the filter into the wellbore on a tubing string, applying an expansion force to outer casing to expanding it to the target displacement. The holes are arranged in a pattern that will cause the outer casing to expand to the target displacement in response to an expansion force applied thereto. The target displacement occurs at the level of limit at which further expansion of the outer casing requires an increase in the expansion force for further expansion, and the specified limit is determined by accelerating the growth of the expansion force necessary for further radial displacement of the outer casing.
EFFECT: ensuring the structural integrity of the filter when used downhole by preventing excessive expansion.
