SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to predict the presence of pathology of the choriocapillaries in the projection of the macular region in chronic myeloproliferative diseases. In women suffering from chronic myeloproliferative disease, the following is found out: the age, duration of the disease, a complete blood count and coagulogram are conducted, the ESR and fibrinogen level are determined. At the age of 67 years and older, with the duration of the disease over 10 years, with platelet counts above 455 × 10⁹/l, ESR above 24 mm/h and fibrinogen above 5.5 g/l, the presence of choriocapillary pathology in the projection of the macular region is predicted.

EFFECT: invention provides a simple and effective method for predicting the presence of pathology of the choriocapillaries in the projection of the macular region in chronic myeloproliferative diseases.
