FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular ophthalmology. The time of the appearance of the first complaints, the presence of massive subretinal deposits according to the data of structural optical coherence tomography of the retina, the presence of additional hypo-autofluorescent or hyperautofluorescent points or areas outside the main focus, and the presence of hyperautofluorescence in the form of "beads" according to the data of short-wave autofluorescence are determined. Then the probability of the patient having central serous chorioretinopathy and vitelliform dystrophies is calculated using the formula. With B from 0.5 to 1.0, a conclusion is made about the probable presence of vitelliform dystrophies in the patient, and with B from 0.0 to 0.49, about the probable presence of chronic central serous chorioretinopathy.
EFFECT: method allows to optimize the differential diagnosis of chronic central serous chorioretinopathy and vitelliform dystrophies in adult patients.
