FIELD: power converter technology.
SUBSTANCE: in an adjustable transformer-rectifier device (ATRD) containing an m-phase transformer voltage unit (TVU) with at least one primary m-phase and two secondary m-phase windings, as well as two m-phase rectifier bridges (RB), one of which is made using diodes, the RB inputs are connected to the secondary m-phase windings, thus forming two voltage rectification channels, as well as a control unit (CU), the second RB is also made using diodes, a fully controlled key element (CKE), a chain of series-connected separating diode and a storage capacitor are connected between the output terminals of each of the RB, the secondary m-phase windings are made identical in the number of turns and in the same topology, for example, according to the star scheme, the CU comprises a two-channel pulse width modulator (PWM), configured to form signal on its two output pins with a clock frequency ƒt, shifted between themselves in phase by half a cycle of the clock frequency and adjustable in duration, and each of its output leads is connected to the control input of one of the CKE. At the same time, in the first embodiment of the ATRD, TVU is made in the form of one three-phase voltage transformer (TVT) with one primary and two secondary three-phase windings. In the second embodiment of the ATRD, TVU is made in the form of two TVTs, each with its own three-phase secondary winding and its own three-phase primary winding, also designed to connect it to the network.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at expanding the voltage regulation range (including not only lowering it, but also increasing it while maintaining the angle ϕ1(1) =0) and increasing the functional reliability of the device.
