FIELD: power converter technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at increasing the input power factor of the ATRD while simplifying the power section and the control unit. The adjustable transformer-rectifier device (ATRD) contains an m-phase voltage transformer unit (mPTVU) with at least one primary m-phase and two secondary m-phase windings, as well as two m-phase rectifier bridges (RB), one of which made on diodes, the inputs of these RBs are connected to the secondary m-phase windings, thus forming two voltage rectification channels, as well as a control unit (CU), an m-phase filter of m chokes and m capacitors, each choke is connected at one end to the end of one of the phase windings of the primary m-phase winding, the other ends of the chokes form the input power outputs of the ATRD, each of the m capacitors is connected between the ends of one of the m pairs of the primary m-phase winding, the primary m-phase and two secondary m-phase windings are made on a common magnetic circuit , the second RB is also made on diodes, a fully controlled key element (CKE) and a chain of series-connected separating diode and a storage capacitor are connected between the output terminals of each of the RBs, the secondary m-phase windings are made identical in the number of turns and in the same topology, the control unit is made in the form of a two-channel pulse width modulator (TCPWM) with the possibility of generating signals with a clock frequency on its two output pins shifted between themselves in phase by half a cycle of the clock frequency and adjustable in duration.
EFFECT: increasing the input power factor of the ATRD while simplifying the power section and the control unit.
