FIELD: textile medical devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to elastic venous fixation and/or compression orthoses creating a therapeutic effect by fixing and/or compressing the lower extremities. Elastic venous fixation and/or compression orthosis, used in case of lower limb disease of patient, comprises upper part and foot part (13), which comprises ankle portion (14) configured to enclose an ankle of an extremity, and calf portion (16) configured to enclose extremity cavity. Upper part (18) and foot part (13) comprise a knitting thread of the upper part and a knitting thread of the leg part, respectively, forming a net of knitted loops, as well as a weft thread of the upper part and, respectively, a weft thread of the foot portion. Upper part comprises reinforcing thread with relative elongation at break of less than 40 % and linear density of more than 30 decitex.
EFFECT: due to elasticity of the orthesis one size may approach patients with lower extremities of different sizes.
