FIELD: in-flight refueling units.
SUBSTANCE: suspended in-flight refueling unit comprises a fuel hose (4) coupling (8) equipped with a cylindrical plug (12) with sealing elements (13) on the outer surface, and a nipple with a valve (15) is installed in its bottom part (14). The cylindrical plug (12) is installed inside the sealing sleeve (10) of the coupling (8). The coupling (6) for attaching the fuel hose to the drum is equipped with a stepped plug (16). The coupling (8) with cylindrical plug (12) is mounted on the internal thread (18) of the stepped plug (16). The outer end (14) of the cylindrical plug (12) of the coupling (8) rests on the inner surface of the end wall (19) of the stepped plug (16), and the nipple (15) with the valve extends beyond the end wall (19) of the stepped plug (16) through the hole (20) into the internal cavity (21) of the coupling (6) of the fuel hose fastening (4) on the drum (3).
EFFECT: increased reliability during storage and transportation of the suspended refueling unit in flight.
